A marquise milk stone set east-west in a bezel whose edges taper away into the band, so there is no visible join between setting and shank — the gold simply swells around the stone and narrows again.
Because the marquise is long and pointed, it follows the line of the finger and reads larger than its size. Nothing sits above the surface, so it slides under gloves and never catches.
